Anxiety is rife among Essar Telecom Kenya Ltd employees and business suppliers, according to people close to the firm.

Media reports in India said Essar Telecom is looking for buyers of its Kenyan business after exiting India, Uganda and Congo.

The company denied the reports, saying in a statement it was till committed to Kenya and Africa, yet there are strong pointers to slow business and low revenues...More
